HOW TO GET QUALITY PHOTOS

When taking photo’s, you want to highlight the features of your home that would encourage a buyer to want to see more.

You want to avoid taking pictures of clutter or overcrowded areas, bulky furniture or stuffed animals.

Stand back from the room in order to give the widest shot of each room, making it appear as spacious as possible.  When you preview the picture, if more than 50% of the available frame is filled with furniture, you need to step back and shoot it again. If it still appears “over furnished” you should consider putting the larger pieces in storage until your home is sold.

Move furniture temporarily, if you need too, in order to get the photo that best shows a particular room.

Cut the grass and weed-eat before taking that outdoors photo. Take several shots of your home from varying angles and let us select the ones that show your home at its best. Do you have an outdoor planter or custom mailbox? Include it in your picture.

If at all possible, avoid taking pictures of trampolines, dog enclosures, brush piles, or outdoors clutter.
